Plastisol coated roofing sheets are the most durable and have a corrosion free lifespan of 25 years in regular conditions, furthermore they are scratch resistant thus meaning they will retain their looks for longer.

In contrast, metal roofing sheets can be purchased in various sheet sizes which can be easily cut to different sizes. Onduline roofing sheets can also be cut to the required size using a power tool or a coarse-toothed handsaw that has been oiled.

Onduline roofing sheets are not coloured but they can be painted, water-based emulsion paint can be used as well as bituminous paint. Metal roofing sheets are available for purchase in different coloured finishes, however plain sheets can be easily painted.
